Here you can wander through the beautifully manicured gardens, sit with a book next to the man made waterfall, stroll along Fern Gully or bring some supplies and have a barbecue.

5. Sunset at Kangaroo Point Cliffs

A local (and visitor!)’s favourite way to see out the day is to stop for a sunset at Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Overlooking Brisbane City and the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens from across the Brisbane river, pause for a moment and watch as the setting sun glints across the high rise buildings. 9. Shopping at Queen Street Mall

Ah, why not?! Queen Street Mall is a famous shopping area in Brisbane and plays host to a large range and variety of stores such as Tiffany & Co, Zara, Myer, H&M, Target and Forever 21. Not only that, if you get tired or hungry from shopping, there are also a range of restaurants and cafes to fuel back up in.

10. Catch a show at QPAC

And finally, a very popular thing to do in Brisbane inner city is to catch a show at QPAC. The Queensland Performing Arts Centre hosts a range of shows from comedy, to musicals to ballet, meaning it’s quite likely you’ll find something on that sparks your interest.
