Incredible Brisbane Location
One of the most important things, for me at least, when looking for accommodation while on holiday is the location. For me, there’s no point finding somewhere if it means you then have to factor in a massive commute or expensive taxi rides to get to and from your location. This is why Capri by Fraser is one of the best hotels for location in Brisbane. It’s found on Albert Street, only a 5 minute stroll from Queen Street Mall in the centre of Brisbane. Its within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the Brisbane River and the beautiful Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, with easy bridge access across to the popular Southbank and Kangaroo Point Cliffs – From Capri by Fraser, Brisbane really is at your doorstep!
The Capri by Fraser Studio Premier Room
I stayed for two nights at Capri by Fraser’s Studio Premier Room. This room was the perfect size, with a large king bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette (including microwave and pod coffee machine!), a desk, television and make up station! And don’t forget the iconic hotel bathrobe and slippers, complimentary water (in a recyclable can!), iron and hairdryer included for use in this room as well. This meant that we had everything we needed for our Brisbane weekend stay.

Great Facilities at the Capri by Fraser Brisbane Hotel
There’s more to Capri by Fraser than just a great hotel room, this hotel also has a number of fantastic facilities for you to use. In addition to a beautiful indoor heated pool (as seen below), you can enjoy steam and sauna facilities, and a 24/7 gym (although, I can’t say we used the gym but we made use of the pool!). If you are driving there is car parking available (at a charge) that you will need to book ahead of time and there are also meeting rooms, and game rooms available as well. You can find out more about of all their facilities here. We spent our first afternoon at Capri by Fraser enjoying the pool before getting ready for a night out in Fortitude Valley.
A Delicious Breakfast at Blackfire Restaurant
Located just underneath Capri by Brisbane, with direct access via the hotel lobby is Blackfire Restaurant. Famous for its delicious Mediterranean flavours and high quality ingredients, the Blackfire Restaurant is on the list for many foodies’ visiting Brisbane. You can enjoy dinner here or, like myself, enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning. As a part of the breakfast deal, you can enjoy bacon, eggs (poached, fried or scrambled), fruit, yoghurt, toast, make-your-own muesli and an assorted pastries – the perfect way to fuel up for the day exploring Brisbane.
