1. The Royal Crescent

The Royal Crescent is a well-known Bath landmark and one of the most Instagrammable locations in Bath. Found to the north west of the city centre, the Royal Crescent is best visited in the afternoon, as the sunlight lights up the surrounding building. This Bath building is more than just Instagrammable, it is also one of the reasons why Bath was world heritage listed in 1987. You can read more about its connection to Bath here. After you’ve snapped your shot for Instagram, the grassy area of the Royal Crescent is a great place to spend a summer evening picnic in Bath.

2. Pulteney Bridge – Bath Instagrammable Bridge

Another iconic structure of Bath, and an Instagrammable location is the Pulteney Bridge. Found just west of Bath inner city, this bridge spans across the River Avon and is known for the shops lining the bridge – in fact, if I hadn’t already known it was a bridge when I walked across Pulteney Bridge I may not have initially realised as the shops make it look like a regular street. The best spot to snap an Instagrammable pic of this Bath bridge is on the walkway overlooking the bridge on Grand Parade Street.

There is a theme with Instagrammable locations in Bath and iconic structures and Bath Abbey is no exception. Found in the centre of Bath, Bath Abbey makes for a spectacular photo from the outside in Abbey Churchyard. As this is also the entrance for The Roman Baths, arrive in the morning before The Roman Baths open so you don’t have to have to have line dividers and a line of people in your shot!

6. The Roman Baths

And, of course, a list of the most Instagrammable places in Bath wouldn’t be complete without including the most famous monument of Bath – and probably what you came to Bath to see! The Roman Baths are an iconic image of Bath and a must do for everyone visiting the town. You can capture the baths from above when you first arrive or capture a shot next to the baths from below. I arrived at The Roman Baths when they first opened on a Thursday and for the most part had the place to myself – which is great for getting an Instagrammable Bath shot. Although this place is popular and does fill up quickly so keep that in mind.
